On Monday, December 10th 2007 Bullocks Express Transportation, Inc announced that selected assets, including all revenue equipment, certain office equipment and all sales information, were purchased by Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. headquartered in Thomasville, NC.

On Friday, December 14th 2007, Bullocks Express will cease LTL operations and Old Dominion will combine Bullocks Express Transportation's terminal operations and their entire LTL route structure with Old Dominion's network, increasing the ODFL network to 192 service centers.

Bullocks Express customers now have the benefit of regional transportation in AZ, CO, NM, TX and UT, as well as Old Dominion's quality national domestic service. In addition, customers will have the ability to access OD's expedited, global, and technology product offerings.
